• At 09:00 you gather together with the team to discuss the day and receive your list of rooms
• After the meeting, you will start working with the list of rooms that are divided (10-13 rooms)
• You work independently in the rooms and you are responsible that hotel guests staying in a clean room as you would like to stay in a hotel yourself!
• The activities you perform are: making beds, vacuuming, dusting, replacing towels, cleaning toilets and bathrooms.
• An eye for detail is important! Because the hotel beds are neatly and tightly made
• Nice lunch with the team and often lunch is arranged at the hotel
• Tired but satisfied you close your day and fill the cleaning supplies in your trolly for the next day
• Time to go home!

The salary depends on your experience and location! Each hotel has its own conditions, and we encourage you to have a personal discussion with us to explore the available options and find the best fit for you.

Our hotel recruiters will contact you within 1 working day to discuss the application. If the outcome is positive, an appointment will be scheduled with you. In the appointment, your wishes will be discussed and/or whether we have a suitable workplace for you. After a match, Recolo looks for a suitable offer and an introductory meeting is scheduled at the hotel.

It is certainly possible to only work the weekends! Most hotel guests check in and out on weekends. These days are therefore the most busy, and there will be plenty of work for you.

You can decide this yourself! We are flexible about this. You may have a fixed availability, but you may also notify us every Tuesday for the following week. However, the weekend obligation still applies if you indicate your availability on a weekly basis.

1 – You work every other weekend. This means that you work Saturday and Sunday, but are free the next weekend after that

2 – You work 1 day at the weekend every week

We apply the weekend obligation because hospitality weekends are the busiest. We, therefore, have many requests during the weekends and therefore try to give you a flexible choice of what is an option in availability for you.

Weekly!

This depends on your place of residence and the hotel. If you live close to the hotel, there are no travel costs at your workplace. Do you live further away then travel costs are definitely a possibility!

A SWAP bike is certainly a possibility through Recolo. For example, if you live in Amsterdam and the hotel is within a good distance from home, then a SWAP bike may be an option for you.

No! It is not necessary. We always discuss with you in the application what housekeeping exactly entails. You get the opportunity to be trained through Recolo at the hotel that suits you best.

There is no end date in the options. We are happy to provide you with a long-term and positive workplace. That is why we are also looking for new colleagues who are looking for a job for a long period of time.

When you start at Recolo you will receive a 0 hours contract. We can provide you with the agreed working days and scope. After 12 months of work, you will have a fixed number of hours in your employment contract.

Unfortunately, Recolo doesn’t offer accommodation for new colleagues. We provide job offers only, and sometimes, we might offer accommodation options, but it’s not common.

Yes! You always have a permanent contact person at Recolo. You can always discuss matters with him/her and he/she is always there for you.
